This stop-motion animated cartoon character first
 appeared in "A Close Shave" - the Oscar-winning
 Wallace And Gromit short film. Shaun was sucked
 into Wallace's Knit-O-Matic Contraption and
 accidently "shorn".

Later, due to his popularity, Shaun The Sheep
 got his own television series, in which he appears
 with a sheepdog called Bitzer, a very big sheep called
Shirley and various other characters on a farm.
